There has been a security breach on the Ronin Network. Earlier today, we discovered that on March 23rd, Sky Mavis’s Ronin validator nodes and Axie DAO validator nodes were compromised resulting in 173,600 Ethereum and 25.5M USDC drained from the Ronin bridge in two transactions (1 and 2). The attacker used hacked private keys in order to forge fake withdrawals. We discovered the attack this morning after a report from a user being unable to withdraw 5k ETH from the bridge.

The popular video subscription platform OnlyFans says it donated 500 ETH (roughly $1.3 million) to UkraineDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization raising funds to support Ukraine during its war against Russia.

A representative of OnlyFans told CoinDesk the donation is a part of the company’s larger charitable effort to support Ukraine, led by OnlyFans’ Ukrainian-American owner Leonid Radvinsky.

The wallet address receiving all of these transfers is: 0x3d98f27493312acae750e98e1b7b64694411e7a2
Because of strict cyber libel rules in the Philippines, and because this is an ongoing investigation, I am not going to accuse anyone of anything right now.

However, if you look at that wallet’s history you’ll see it’s the same wallet that created the original token contracts and supplied liquidity to them.

We’ve been trying to track down Mark Lagman Gutierrez to question him about what’s happening. As he was the lead dev that built this project from inception, and we had an agreement with him to hand over all assets to us.

Plus there is a message he sent us (attached in CG Rebuild chat), showing us a transaction he did to test one of the game contracts being worked on. In this transaction, the “from” address is the address he was using to deploy the transaction. You’ll notice, it’s the same address that is receiving all the token withdraws from Unicrypt, and then swapping them and sending them to Binance (0x3d98f27493312acae750e98e1b7b64694411e7a2).

From what we can tell by tracking the transactions on that wallet, and from talking to Binance, the wallet swapped GODZ for BNB and then sent it to a Binance Hot Wallet, where it was then moved to external storage (told to us by Binance).

Our goal and priority here is to get the BNB back. Because the funds that are missing are the project funds to pay for the rebuild, and to fund the liquidity of the new token.

To be clear, the funds that were taken are from the game’s vested token allocations. These were always the team’s to use. But the person making these transfers from that wallet address has no consent from our team to do so.

Also to be clear, neither I nor Nathan ever had control to the game or token contracts. That was all set up by Mark when the game was created, and has not been handed over yet to our control.

We are hoping some people in the Philippines from this community may be able to help us reach Mark to follow up with these important questions…

We’re working to get the truth here, reverse these actions, and also wanted to make the community aware of what is going on.
And when we do confirm who is behind these transfers, we will be filing a cyber crime case against them. Our lawyer is already looking into this for us now.

The long-awaited reveal of the Pixelmon NFT collection is here and it isn’t what people expected. Over the past two days, Twitter has exploded as users saw their Pixelmon NFTs for the first time. It is safe to say that the majority of people were not impressed. Especially considering this collection has substantial backing and raised over $70 million to build the project.

However, the reveal has left people unimpressed, disillusioned, and out of pocket, following a catastrophic drop in value on OpenSea. To put it kindly, the artwork is significantly below the expectations of the NFT community.

Web3, the famously decentralised internet technology that has centralised much of the NFT marketplace into a single shopfront (Opensea), woke over the weekend to find that some of its user’s wallets had reportedly been compromised, and loads of precious NFTs stolen.

The alarm was sounded yesterday, when some users began noticing that some NFTs—including some Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club jpgs—were missing from their wallets. Aside from the fact it appears to have been the work of a single person (or at least a single account) that’s all we know for sure at time of posting. How all that stuff went missing, and just how much the heist is “worth”, are two of the particulars still up in the air.

Opensea co-founder and CEO Devin Finzer says the site is fine, and that “as far as we can tell” those affected were the victims of a “phishing attack”
