📣 Our new documentary project, "Nana's Wings" (directed by Maradia Tsaava), is participating in an intriguing program: EAVE Change, a co-production training course spanning from 2023 to 2024. The first and second sessions took place in Tbilisi and Chisinau, respectively. Currently, the third and final workshop is ongoing as part of the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival - CPH:DOX.
Today, director Maradia Tsaava and producer Mariam Chachia will present the project at CPH:FORUM, engaging with the international market to develop tailored strategies for its advancement.

"A film from the Eurasian nation of Georgia got the honor of being the first documentary to screen at this year's True/False Film Fest. Called "Magic Mountain," the film co-directed by Mariam Chachia and Nik Voight was also making its U.S. debut. Like many of the films shown during the festival, "Magic Mountain" is cloaked in sadness and tugs at the heartstrings with its chronicle of tuberculosis sufferers who are receiving treatment at a sanatorium called Abastumani that, tucked into the Georgian woods far from anywhere else, keeps the contagion isolated. It is difficult enough to watch these patients, many on their death bed, take their injections, IV drips and handfuls of pills to lessen their misery, but it is also a bit jarring to know that the film's narrator is director Chachia, at one time a tuberculosis patient herself. Chachia beat the disease at home and never had to enter a sanatorium, but her narration drips with empathy, palpable even though most viewers have to learn what she's saying through the film's subtitles. The documentary is shot primarily in winter and the season's starkness adds to the film's noir-ish quality. As with most films where directors were present at their screenings, Chachia and Voight fielded questions from the audience after the showing."

📣 ჩვენი ახალი დოკუმენტური პროექტი "ნანას ქარიშხალი" (რეჟ. მარადია ცაავა) მონაწილეობს ძალიან საინტერესო პროგრამაში - EAVE Change: Co-production training course 2023 - 2024. პროგრამის პირველი და მეორე სესია თბილისსა და კიშინიოვში ჩატარდა, ხოლო მესამე, დასკვნითი ვორქშოფი 2024 წლის მარტში, კოპენჰაგენის დოკუმენტური ფილმების საერთაშორისო ფესტივალის ფარგლებში გაიმართება.

📣 Our new documentary project "Nana's Wind" (dir. Maradia Tsaava) participates in a very interesting program - EAVE Change: Co-production training course 2023 - 2024. The first and second sessions of the program were held in Tbilisi and Chisinau, and the third, final workshop will be held in March 2024 Within the framework of the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival - CPH:DOX.

📌 12 და 13 იანვარს, ბრიუსელის თანამედროვე ხელოვნების ცენტრი "ბოზარი" პროგრამის 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 - Georgia ფარგლებში თანამედროვე ქართულ დოკუმენტურ ფილმებს მასპინძლობს. პროგრამა დღევანდელი საქართველოს სოციალურ-პოლიტიკურ და ისტორიულ კონტექსტს ეხმიანება.

📌 On January 12 and 13, The Centre for Fine Arts: Bozar in Brussels will host contemporary Georgian documentaries within the framework of the program 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 - Georgia. The program will focus on, and delve into, nowadays, Georgia's socio-political and historical landscape.
