Happy New Year everyone. Hope your January is going well. After many discussions with Jon, we have decided to team up on Etsy. 🥰 I have created so many digital products over the years that it seemed daft not to add them to our Passive income project.

Jon is continuing to work on new products for 3D printing at home. He is designing a new product which we can also post out to you(so no need for your own 3D printer for this one)

Wounds are healing externally but after having a busy weekend with the grandkids my internal wounds are hurting. I slept almost all day on Monday. Just listening to my body. Looking forward to going back to work though 🤣 Is that weird?

Well, it's been a hot minute since I posted on this page. It's been a hectic Summer so far. A quick dash to Paris with Mr D, a weeks rest in Kefalonia whilst I was on a pre op restrictive diet, the op itself followed by a horrendous first week post op.

I haven't stopped creating though. I decided that I didn't like the front cover of my Teacher Lesson Planner, so in my true a**l fashion I scrapped the original cover & instead now have 3 different covers available. This is the first one that is available for sale, so if you are a teacher/homeschooler or know one then please tag them in the comments of this post.

I have created many more books, but they are low content books such as guest books for airbnb/guest house owners & some lovely notebooks too. Some are available to purchase already & some are coming soon. So watch this space.

Today’s view 😢

I had such a bad day yesterday so today I am exhausted & in bed.

Post op constipation is “REAL” 🥵 & yesterday the whole neighbourhood heard my screams 🤦🏻‍♀️ & I think I may have hurt myself as the pain is bad today.

I’ve also been crying a lot for the last 48hrs & am feeling very low 😥 I feel very old, very ugly & very useless.

I hope tomorrow is a better day 🤞

Well it’s been a manic week with the aftermath of the book launch. I’ve been so busy creating some vintage stationery📓 & Creating the pages for the Teacher Planner.

With that, I totally forgot this weeks Wow Wednesday so it will have to a be a Fabulous Friday Creations. 🥰

This weeks creation is by my lovely hubby Jon of JD Solid Creations. He designs bespoke homeware on solid works to be 3d printed & this was his latest creation. What do you think?

In addition to my previous post, these 2 gorgeous humans are also what has kept me going.

You think that the love you have for your own children is the strongest love ever until you have grandchildren 🥰 How can 2 little people bring so much joy 🤩 Watching them play & grow is a blessing. They get bigger & more beautiful every time I see them. Oliver is a real bright spark & so clever 🧠. Alfie is the cutest little character who makes me laugh & smile 😊

🙋🏻‍♀️Hi Everyone, I’ve not checked in personally for quite some time. It’s been a funny few years.

💃🏻Life was going great before Co**d. I’d lost 5 stone in weight & really had the old Donna back. I had confidence, fun & my mental health was the best it had been in years.

Then the worst happened. We lost Dad 😢
My mental health decreased, my weight increased, my physical health became really bad & I became a recluse.

💡I always try & find a positive within a negative & although I was down & out for 2 years, I eventually started to find things in my life that sparked joy again. I found that having a creative outlet really helped & I started creating things which just sat in my computer as I still didn’t have the confidence to do anything with them. I didn’t think they were good enough.

🥰Over that next year & with the help of medication & the most amazing husband & family I slowly started to reemerge. Life became interesting again, my weight naturally started to drop as my self care routines became normal again.

📚Fast forward to this year & although I’m not fully back to where I was physically or mentally, theres definitely been a shift. I found the courage to create & publish my first book which of course had to be a Prayer Journal for Women. From researching & creating the inner pages to creating the beautiful floral cover, I knew I had found my passion project.

🙏🏼So I guess what I’m saying in this hello message is that, life throws us curve balls at times. I do believe that with hope & perseverance we can overcome anything. We just have to keep going & know that better times are coming.
