A couple of weeks ago, we gathered in a small church to venture into making a Straight 8 film, directed by Louisa Bablin and shot by Tilly Garland . Had such great time working on it and can't wait to see what comes out of it!!

These human beans have got themselves nominated for Best Experimental Film at BFI Future Film Festival 2023 !! Couldn't be more excited, again massive round of appreciation to Luize Neila Plukše , Haralds Arnis, Liva Nora Apseniece, Sintija Skrabe, Rūdis Vilsons, Viesturs Graždanovičs and everyone else who allowed us to borrow smoke machine, turn their shed into a maze of cables and get warm by the fireplace.

The film will be available online from 16th February to 2nd March on BFI YouTube channel and it will be screen on 17th of February at BFI Southbank during Friday screening 15:00-17:10.

The past year has been full of very exciting projects and collaborations, unfortunately, I have been lacking in the sharing part of it all, BUT those days are gone!! I will be posting more of my work in post-production and cinematography over the next months, meanwhile here is my motion graphics showreel 2022, hope you like it :))

This summer I had a chance to collaborate with Baltic Investigative journalism centre Re:Baltica to create a short video for Inga Springe's latest work on unequal education, here is the final video and the full article is on their website.

For the past couple of months, I have been obsessing over and the WaterBear Network series 'The Breakdown' and the amazing animations that ended up inspiring my newest video for Athletic Interest.

My very dear friend Jana Aizupe has yet again created something truly amazing, I wish that I could see the whole performance, but even just seeing a glimpse of it, while working on this trailer, was very inspirational and just makes me very very proud.

Little me had a love and hate relationship with Моя прекрасная няня (My Favorite Nanny) sitcom series, but the title sequence has just stuck in my brain and well now it was the main inspiration for the title sequence I animated for another amazing tv show - The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (as a uni assignment). A lot of layers and a lot of jazz.
