Man, Quincy Jones has passed at age 91. What an absolute titan of music. One of the best to ever do it. Beyond the obvious production stuff - Michael Jackson, Sinatra, Ray Charles - he had a truly exceptional body of work, both his own albums and producing for others. Here’s to an absolute legend. Rest in peace QJ!! 👏🏻🍷

The only thing I'd say about the Rane Performer is it's really big! It's about as wide as the Rane One, but nearly twice as deep. Bear that in mind if your thinking about upgrading... I know I'm probably gonna have to think about reworking my set-up (or buying a bigger portable booth)

Finally got my hands on a Rane Performer yesterday. Absolutely blew me away! 🤯 So much creative potential, and some great workflows for things like stems. I love my Rane One, but the Performer feels like a big step up... I'll definitely be upgrading at some point, maybe after I get through the busy end of the year.
