I've been using heated socks for winter paddling, the only snag is you've got to turn them on before putting your drysuit on meaning less active time while paddling.
One of my paddling group bought these that can be controlled via a phone Bluetooth app, meaning you can control them when your drysuit is on, meaning more active time when paddling.
