Hello, your FREE October issue of the Yealmpton Press should now be on your doorsteps. A few spare copies are available from the General Stores as well as the Post Office. And don't forget that both current and past issues of the Press are available online.

If you're quick there's still time to visit the great local craft fair in aid of PUMA Ukraine medical aid at the Community Centre. So many hand-made crafts to choose from that would make unique personalised gifts - I've just come away with a a wooden pen hand crafted by Jim Wallace (made from oak salvaged from the old Paignton Pier!!) as a last -minute Father's Day present and 2 little 'pocket hug' craft kits from Drab to Fab to make with my daughter to celebrate her home-coming reunion next week. And some raffle tickets of course! 🤞
If you go, please stop and chat to Ali, the incredible lady who gives up her time to organise the convoys of life-saving supplies to the people in Ukraine who are living in the most appalling conditions. She truly is one of those people that makes the world a better place. Doors close at 2pm today but please keep an eye on the Press for news of future donation days and events
