Hunter's Full Moon 🌕 20th October 2021

It is said the the Hunter's Full Moon was given its name by the Native Americans. It is believed that the October Full moon signaled the time to go hunting for the cold winter ahead.

As the moon moves into Aries it highlights the new beginning of so many shifts including Bravery, Independence and taking back your power. Hell yeah!!!

Even though it was the full moon last night, don't worry if you missed your crystal charge, make sure you pop them on your window sill tonight - you still have time! 🙌

Well what a year it's been!

I cannot believe its been a year this evening that we hit go on our Facebook and Instragram pages!

A year this evening we introduced the world to NAHOA 🌊💙

It's not gone quite as smoothly as we had hoped, we've had a few hiccups over the last few months but if anything its made us stronger and even more determined and excited to share our dream with you!

We have an amazing team who have worked so hard on creating NAHOA and helped lay the foundation of our new venture correctly.

We're invested emotionally and passionate about trying to make a difference to the world by promoting mindful wellbeing as much as possible. We cannot wait to share her with you!

So official, the Harvest Moon (also known as the Corn Moon) isn't at its fullest until 12.54am UTC tomorrow morning, and.. it is a little cloudy, but I had to try and get a shot! It's soo mesmerising!

The full Moon in Pisces comes with so much to offer! It's a time for giving and helping without reciprocating and it will be a time to 'feel the feels'💙

So get your crystals at the ready, placed nicely on your windowsill for their monthly recharge! 🔮🌕

Let's talk Crystal!

I remember being about 8 years old in an amazing toy store in America!

It was huge, we had our spending money and was let loose to choose anything we wanted.

My sister ran over to the other side choosing the biggest soft toy she could find while I was begging for a tiny 'choose your own' bag of Crystals that I couldn't take my eyes off! (I still have these today)

I'd always been, (and still am) drawn to these beautiful sparkling rocks!

Just over 2 years ago I met our amazing Crystal Queen, Melanie Drage .crystal_zenporium where I was introduced to Crystals on a whole new level!

I entered a whole new world and learnt so much about the benefits and properties these gorgeous Gems hold!

1 tumble turned to 50 then the spheres and towers started making there way into my house. I became so intrigued by them!

I started carrying my Crystals with me wherever I went and I started to feel like a different person!

My mood changed, I was more positive and definitely had more motivation! I now cannot leave the house without them!

I can't wait to cover more about Crystals in first issue!

Happy 1st July ☀️🙌

How are we already this far into 2021! Feels like Christmas was only last month! Crazy!

I'm celebrating because July is my Happy month! 😁

It's my feel good, high vibe month! For the last 14 years it's always been our 'holiday month, it's the month I normally switch off for two weeks laid on the beach with a good book and a margarita (or an Efes 😉) In my favourite place, Icmeler Turkey!

For obvious reasons we've had to miss last year and we'll be missing this year, but with that said for some reason I still always get that 'Happy' feeling inside that keeps me going! 🙌☀️🌊

"Why do women feel the need to EXPLAIN?

We explain why we work full-time. Or part-time. Or work from home. Or why we left work to stay home with the kids.

We explain why we decided to leave him. Or stay with him.

Or have another baby.

We explain alllllll our parenting choices (especially our decision to bottle or breastfeed…I’ve done both).

We apologize for the condition of our homes. Or our clothes.

We explain the reasons why we cut our hair. Or why we haven’t returned to our pre-baby weight.

We give excuses for why we can’t make it to the party. Or can’t volunteer. Or can’t make the trip.

Or why we need help from a nanny a few hours a week.

We say things like, 'Oh, excuse the mess!' or 'Don’t mind my hair!' or 'I’m so sorry I can’t be there!' followed by a string of explanations.

I guess we want to please our mothers and husbands and bosses and children and neighbors and coworkers and friends and siblings and children’s teachers and those ladies from church and people who drop by unannounced and those random strangers at the store.

Right???

But, you want to hear something funny?

I’ve been married almost twenty years now, and I’ve NEVER heard my husband explain his choices.

To anyone.

Not his choice to work 60 hours a week. Or his choice to coach basketball nearly every evening. Not his choice to go trail running or shave his head and grow a beard or drive a Suburban or buy a new mountain bike (that cost a small fortune).

I’ve never once heard him open the door to our house and explain why there are shoes on the floor or why the entryway is half-painted or why he’s wearing what he’s just…WEARING.

He is who he is and his ‘NO’ means no and when he can’t make it to the party he just says so.

It’s absurd.

And really…

I’ve decided I am finished explaining every single choice I am absolutely FREE to make.

I’m through with unnecessary excuses and apologies and rationalizations for the choices I believe are best for ME. And my family.

I’m done.

This is ME.

This is who I am. How I look. What I like. How I believe. And the way I choose to spend my time.

That’s it.

Its OK not to be OK! 💪🙌

Well! To say we've had an eventful few weeks would be an understatement!

After what I can only describe as the most terrifying experience of my life with our youngest son a few weeks ago (he's absolutely 💯 fine now) I totally lost my head!

As someone who has suffered with anxiety all my life I know how easy it can be to be knocked off my game.

I've been able to manage my anxiety these past few years with the amazing technics and therapies I've been introduced to but this well and truly floored me!

I found myself back in that black pit of fear as quick as you can say 'bobs your uncle!'

Thankfully, our little Monkey was absolutely fine after the event - but I wasn't!

I couldn't concentrate on anything other than all the 'what if's'!

Every form of anxiety hit all at once. Not only was I a nervous wreck and couldn't take my eyes off Arthur but now worrying about every aspect of my life!

The hardest part was feeling guilty and angry at myself! Knowing deep down everything was absolutely fine and knowing this was just 'my anxiety'!

I felt as if I'd let myself down and so angry I'd let myself drop into that dreaded pit!

I'd acknowledged I needed to get myself back on track pretty much straight away, and I knew what I needed to do but the walls had gone back up and I wasn't listening to ME!

I had spoken to so many of the inspirational women in my life who all said the same 'stop being so hard on yourself'!! I'd been through something very traumatic, what else was expected??

Instead of trying to push past and ignore it I needed to sit with it and process it! I needed this reality check!

I needed to be kind to myself - "It's OK not to be OK"

Giving myself the time to be in the right mindset, lots of Tapping & EFT, Mediating and a fantastic Hypnotherapy session I couldn't believe how different I felt!

I feel focused, back on my game and totally have my mojo back!!

So whatever you're going through.. take you're time, don't be so hard on yourself! One bad day, week or month doesn't define you and the journey you're on. 🌊

There are plenty of inspirational ladies in the world right now but looking through history quite a lot have been written out of history despite contributing so much to our lives now.

One of those women in Hedy Lamarr who was not only a actress on the silver screen 📺 but invented frequency-hopping which is the basis of communication like wifi, SMS messaging, 3G/4G/5G and Bluetooth. 📞

It’s how we’ve posted this gorgeous picture of Hedy to Instagram. It’s how you listen to music on your Bluetooth speaker. Isn’t that incredible! 😝
