DNA is all about unveiling the hidden beauties in our world, the places that time forgot about. In the middle of December we revealed that we would be releasing our second video titled âThe Tunnelsâ featuring a âNottinghamshire basedâ location.. the location was very quickly guessed and - given the heritage and history - we went along with it and made an even more information based docu-explore than originally planned, since the video launched we hit over 20,000 views in 2 weeks which to us was just amazing in itself, something we never imagined.
Yesterday afternoon we received a message from someone who works on the estate in a high up position, whilst they acknowledged the positive message we were putting across in the video there were claims that since the video gained attention there had been an increase in people attempting to access the areas we explored in our video - this is not what we wanted. The video was made to show what a beautiful location it was but we made a point to mention that this was in no way shape or form a safe place to go to. We have since come to an agreement with the staff over at the Welbeck Estate and removed the video to avoid any possible disruption to the grounds from people attempting to find the area from watching our video, it will not be re-uploaded to this page again.
We would like to personally thank each and every single person that made this video possible, what was going to be just a normal 15 minute explore turned into something much more than that because of the prior interest it gathered. We would also like to thank the staff of the Welbeck Estate for their kind words regarding the docu-explore and for having a complete understanding in what we do.
We have new videos already recorded and plenty more videos in the pipeline for the near future. This page was originally somewhere for us to store our memories but public attraction has lead to it being more than this.
Finally Iâd just like to reiterate - Urban Exploration is more often than not an unsafe pass time to partake in. Areas are often in a poor state of repair and accidents can be waiting around any corner. It is for this reason we do not advise anybody attempts to follow in our footsteps, we do this entirely at our own risk and take away whatever comes of it, be it a grazed kneecap from a slip or in a worse case - a broken bone from a fall.
We will always have a true-to-the-core belief on Urban Exploration which is that anywhere explored should be disrupted as little as possible and as the Urban Explorers motto goes - Take Nothing But Photos Leave Nothing But Footprints.
