Here's the right grid, in case you wish to print it off.

Walsall Libraries are currently waiving late fees for overdue books. Residents will be able to return borrowed titles without a fine before 1 October 2023, no matter how long they have been overdue.
Items can be returned to any of Walsall’s seven libraries or the Mobile Library. Although fines will be reintroduced from 1 October, it’s never been easier to renew books, with options to renew in-person, by telephone, by email or online.
Councillor Garry Perry, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Resilient Communities, said: “We understand that many library goers may have been reluctant or unable to visit their local library to return borrowed books over the last few years and may now be uncertain about returning them due to how overdue they are, or perhaps the condition they are in.
“Books are an important community resource and we want to reassure people that late books will be accepted with no questions asked and no late fees if they are returned to our libraries before October.
“If you’ve not visited our fantastic libraries for a while, this is a chance to return any books you have borrowed, pick up something new and give others the opportunity to read the ones you have enjoyed.”
2022 saw an increase of 31.6% in loans across Walsall’s libraries on the 2021-22 financial year, with a total of 376,053 loans across the Borough. Currently up to 15 items can be borrowed for four weeks at a time. Overdue items are usually charged at 16p per day up to a maximum of £5.50 for those aged 18-60. There are no overdue charges for under-18s or over-60s.

For a second year BBC local radio wants to celebrate and say thank you to people who make where we live a better place. Nominations for their Make a Difference Awards are now open and close on Sunday 5 March and BBC Radio WM is keen to receive as many local nominations as possible.
We all hear stories of people doing incredible things for each other and their communities and now there’s an opportunity to see their hard and selfless work recognised and congratulated.
It might be caring for someone in need, being a brilliant neighbour, picking up litter, helping families in crisis or inspiring children in the classroom — if you know someone who is really making a difference where you live, then you can nominate them for an award.
To make a nomination, please visit https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/3M4QTQxVtH3z7nbyZjDDS4p/make-a-difference-awards

For the first time, voters in the local election on Thursday 4 May 2023 will need to show photographic ID when voting at a polling station due to new requirements implemented by the Government. Walsall Council is urging residents to make sure they are ready to vote in May by checking they have an accepted form of ID.
Accepted forms of ID include a UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or Commonwealth passport; a UK, EEA or Commonwealth drivers’ licence; and some concessionary travel passes, such as an older person’s bus pass or an Oyster 60+ card. Voters will be able to use expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo.
Anyone who does not have one of the accepted forms of ID will be able to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate online at voter-authority-certificate.service.gov.uk/. Walsall residents who need support with accessing digital services can go to one of the Walsall libraries or registered Community Hubs for digital support through the Walsall Connected programme. Alternatively, residents can contact the Electoral Services team to discuss their requirements.
The full list of accepted ID is available on the Electoral Commission’s website, along with more information about the new requirement and details of how to apply for the Voter Authority Certificate, at electoralcommission.org.uk/voterID.
Only people registered to vote will be able to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate. It only takes five minutes to register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
If you need any help with applying for the free ID or want to request an application form, contact the electoral services team on 01922 652502 or email [email protected]"
The requirement to show photo ID at the polling station, is a new requirement, introduced by the UK Government’s Elections Act which was passed last year and comes into effect for the first time this May.

Walsall Council’s plans to tackle derelict land and buildings to facilitate aspirational housing in Willenhall that includes affordable are moving a step forward with public engagement events planned ahead of the anticipated submission of an outline planning application early in 2023.

Sites in the council’s sights are in Moat Street and Villiers Street, with the plan being to secure and release land which would see up to 107 new homes being built to accommodate housing need in the town.
There is a significant demand for first time buyer homes in Willenhall, caused by a significantly higher young population.

Views are very much welcomed via an online survey) but there are also two face to face engagement events at the Willenhall Chart centre. The first is on Tuesday 6 December from 4pm to 7pm and the second is on Thursday 8 December from10am to 1pm.

Council regeneration officers will be on hand at the events to talk through proposals and the council’s appointed property consultant representative will also be available to talk with land and property owners affected by the proposals.

The details of the proposals and the online survey are available to view on the Council’s website at https://go.walsall.gov.uk/business/regeneration-and-investment/willenhall-framework/moat-street-and-villiers-street

The online survey is open until midnight Sunday 11 December.

Find out more about Walsall Council's proposed development for Moat Street and Villiers Street Willenhall. Take part in the survey.
