We've been thinking over this about the games we'd like to play this year.

We are pretty new to playing board games and haven't played a lot.
So here are our top three games that we would love to try:

1: Azul.
This tile based game looks really fun and pretty and doesn't have overly complicated rules. It's definitely a game for us as beginners.

2: Ticket to Ride.
Since we started out making Three Kobolds, we have heard nothing but good things about Ticket to Ride. We will definitely have to give it a go.

3: Everdell.
This game looks so cute and peaceful from the box art. We have a soft spot for the fantasy genre, and Everdell will fit right in.

As part of our 2025 goals, we are planning to create more content for you!
That bring us to today which is Talks Thursday!

We played a few of our new board games over the Christmas period, and our favourite out of the bunch was a Drei Magier Spiel game called Cheating Moth, which we picked up from Travelling Man at AireCon.

As the name suggests, this little game is all about cheating. The goal? Get rid of the cards in your hand either by playing them, or the quicker way, dropping, throwing, or hiding them without being caught by the Guard Bug.

We had so much fun playing it and never got tired of it no matter how much we played it.

We have a few goals for 2025 so we've made a list of our top 5 for FanCraftedGaming.

Here's a little break down though:

Posting regularly on social media:
A tough one for us due to our day jobs, but we will do our best.

Setting up a Discord server to build a board gaming community:
With this we can host games, run competitions, and we can also host new giveaways!

Collab with other creators:
We would also love to do this more regularly. We have a few ideas already so stay tuned for this one!

We'd also love your thoughts on our content, if there's anything you'd like to see here. If you have any ideas, let us know in the comments or DM us.

Get ready to play at Shrewsbury Comic Con on Sunday 6th October, 10am - 5pm.

You will need a ticket to enter the venue, but it will be free to play our game.

Come meet Chad, Brad, Dax, and the other Kobolds making their way through a fantasy village, completing quests and challenging others to games of I spy, and rock, paper, scissors.

We'd like to thank everyone that has played our game last week in Wellington, and today in Bridgnorth.
We are so happy to see everyone enjoying our game!

We've got one more playtest lined up for next week at Shrewsbury Comic Con: Spooky Season.

We have 3 events coming up in September.
One is a craft jumble, a great place to buy craft supplies.

And the other 2 events are for playtesting!
