Teachers… had enough of unrealistic targets, marking, planning, disruptive behaviour, missing time with family and friends, unsupportive management, OFSTED stress, sleepless nights?
That was me a few years ago… I thought there was no other job I could do, and that if I left, the bills wouldn’t get paid
How wrong could I be!
I started my own online business from scratch with no previous experience (not MLM, pyramid selling or trying to sell products no one wants!)
The time to start planning to exit is now

By this I don’t mean something you would like to do. It has to be an all-consuming burning desire which overcomes any fear holding you back.
Think about your reasons for why you are doing it and what your life will look like when you reach that point.
Make this something you return to as motivation time and time again – your reason why.
𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟
Identifying the skills you need and where to find the right training is of course very important.
Find world-class training and mentors to help you on your journey.
Do your research, ask around, model successful people and find out how they did it.
𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
This is often where people fall down.
We often find reasons to not actually take action such as thinking we need to be perfect or need more training.
Fear of failure can also be holding you back – mindset is key – if this is an issue for you, again do your research. There are some great books out there to help you
Taking action is more important than being perfect – you will get better over time
Be consistent taking action every day.
Develop good routines that will progress you towards your goal

Mindset is often what holds us back from taking action

It held me back for years, but once I realised that I was destroying my chances of success and happiness, I knew I had to do something about it

That voice in your head might be saying things like:

• I can't do that
• I am not clever enough
• I don't have time
• What will people think of me?
• That is for other people to do, there is no way I could ever achieve that
• If I fail, I will be ridiculed
• It's too much of a risk
• I don't have the skills to do that
• I am too old .. and so on

THEN

I discovered a really simple technique which took me a week to master

Yes, just a week!

This has been my office this week… I consider myself fortunate that I can take my work with me wherever I go and work at a time to suit me
Would you love to be able to do something that gives you those options?
✔️Freedom to work where you want
✔️Freedom to work when you want
✔️Freedom to not have a ceiling on your income
✔️Freedom to love what you do
It may be that you have caring responsibilities… for me it was looking after elderly parents and helping my children out when they needed child care
Trying to juggle that with a full-time, stressful job was not easy
Maybe you would like the freedom to travel and work at the same time
How much would you need to be earning to supplement your income to a level that would really help you out, or even better, quit your 9-5!

Are you feeling restless? Want to change your career or try something new?

Last time I posted about this, lots of people took part and are now on the pathway to either changing their career or having a very lucrative side hustle!
I get it! We are all really busy, scared to make changes, think it will cost the earth, believe our skills aren't up to it...
That was me too!
Fear and excuses were holding me back!
The main thing that changed my outlook was to just take action towards what I wanted... once I did this, taking small steps every day, the momentum built, fear was removed and success followed!
