So what’s all this about then?
Hey there! I’m Julia, mid-life single mama of two gorgeous children - Jacob aged 12 and Charlotte aged 10 and a half.. I’m originally a Yorkshire lass but “home” has been Surrey since 1997. I’ve been a single mum for 7 years now, and until 2 years ago I was almost killing myself on the corporate treadmill in software sales, trying to maintain my sanity whilst raising two young children alone. After suffering at the hands of unsympathetic bosses who had no clue about (or interest in) the challenges faced by a single parent trying to perform at their optimum both at work and at home, I had had enough of lining corporate pockets and decided to strike out on my own.
Unsurprisingly, it’s taken me 3 years of freelancing in sales and digital marketing, learning new skills, testing different avenues... and going down a couple of rabbit-holes, to finally figure out where my passion and my strengths truly lie... I’ve worked out what I’m best at, and how that’s going to create financial freedom and stability for me and my family.
In the past 6 months I have also become a full-time carer for my elderly mum, so it’s absolutely essential that I am free to structure my own working schedule. Having more than one online income stream has given me that freedom - my earning potential is limitless as it’s not defined by a “boss” or employer. I earn a full-time income from my online store, Mercury Girl, and from my affiliate marketing venture that I started in April 2020. These income streams alone are supporting me and my family, and I am not teaching others how to achieve the same freedom with an online business.
