⛳️The Open has just announced it will follow the US Open in offering a place in the starting line-up to the leading LIV Golf League player not already exempt for this year's field at Royal Portrush.

The highest-placed player in the top five of the circuit's standings after its June event in Dallas who has not already qualified will be awarded the spot.

Time to fly home today and leave this beautiful country behind til next time!

Thank you to everyone who joined us across the three venues in Phuket, Chiang Mai & Hua Hin.

Great fun and company as always with some lovely golf courses and hotels.

Hopefully we are all taking away some fantastic memories.

The wonderfully named Pineapple Valley Golf Club in Hua Hin is a lovely layout wth some great views of both mountains and ocean.

As the name suggests the course is built on a former Pineapple Plantation it's a beautifully designed golf facility.

The clubhouse is quite unique in design and the 19th hole at Mulligans Pub has been named the most scenic in Thailand!

⛳️🇮🇪 It was definitely luck of the Irish at Pebble Beach yesterday with both Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry acing out for holes in one during the first round of the prestigious AT&T Pro-AM.

Rory carded only his second hole-in-one on the PGA Tour at the 15th on Spyglass Hill while Lowry aced one of the most photographed holes in golf the 113 yard 7th at Pebble Beach

It was the first time since 2009 there were multiple aces in a round at the signature PGA Tour event.

Both Irishmen are 2 shots behind the opening round leader Russell Henley while another European Ryder Cup star Justin Rose hit a 7-under 65 to finish just one shot behind.

You can watch the two holes-in-one below - we suspect the post -round bar celebrations might've been a popular spot to be!!

Rory's protege Tom Mckibbin has confirmed his switch to LIV Golf where he'll join Jon Rahm's Legion XIII team along with Tyrell Hatton.

At 22 McKibbin is widely regarded as one of the best young prospects in the game.

He's already qualified for The Open at Royal Portrush, and was on Luke Donald's radar for the Ryder Cup later this year but that may now looks unlikely.

In joining LIV he has to forgo the PGA Tour card he secured in November.

Rory had advised McKibbin against the move but he will now make his LIV Golf debut at next week’s season opener in Riyadh.

⛳️🎤🍁You may have thought Noah Kahan's global mega hit "Stick Season" was all about Autumn?

Well judging by his latest investment it might be more to do with his new golf clubs!

Two Time Grammy® Nominated Singer-Songwriter Kahan has spent some of the cash from his multi-platinum album sales investing in Rory McIlroy's TGL team Boston Common Golf.

Keen golfer Kahan joins fellow singer and Rory's buddy Niall Horan as an investor in the New England team.

Noah was there this week to see his new team lose narrowly to Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club.

Next up for Boston are Justin Rose's league leaders LA where Kahan, Horan & Rory will be hoping they can sing to a different tune!

🐉 🏮🐍 We're lucky to be in Thailand for the Lunar Year/Spring Festival celebrations.

The celebrations start today for the start of the Year of the Snake! Dragons are so yesterday! (literally given 2024 was the Year of the Dragon!).

The 15 day Spring Festival ends on 12 February with the spectacular Festival of Lanterns. Should be an interesting few days.

We're back in Hua Hin for the final leg of our Thailand event.

Many of you will have been with us here before on previous trips and have some great memories of time spent here, but it's always nice to be back.

The 5 star Centara Grand Hotel, beaches, night market, fabulous restuarants and beautiful golf courses have always made Hua Hin a Greencard favourite stop off!

A lot of you will also know one of the famous local residents!
