This weeks originates from London, via a short stay in Dubai. He came back to a boarding school that held sport in high regards, which enabled him to play all types of sport. Playing school rugby opened his eyes to levels & relationships. Finding who he was on the pitch at school enabled him to build towards plauing club rugby. A challenge was something he embraced so from London Irish Rugby Club to New Zealand & Invercargill it was. He returned home to Cardiff Uni and played for Caerphilly RFC & loved it. His playing career has included London Scottish RFC Saracens London Scottish, Saracens, England 7s, Leopards in SA, & London Broncos RL. His coaching/performance career has included Chelsea Football Club Wasps Rugby Vodacom Bulls Melbourne Rebels The Welsh Rugby Union Scottish Rugby England 7s, Oxford Uni, Argentina Rugby & multiple visits to French coaches. This isn't right what's happening at Salford Red Devils RLFC. It's a game to fans & media but to all the staff there it's their lives & livelihood that's being portrayed in the media without them knowing what's going on. A great club with great people involved on both the playing & support staff with a good mate being there as a player. I hope this can be sorted out ASAP, all while the game talks about WELFARE. Bet this is great for everyone's welfare isn't it.

Salford has revealed a 17-man squad for tomorrow's game against Wigan. Players' wages arrived yesterday afternoon for March. The club is still waiting for full funding and literally getting by on a month-to-month basis.

This weeks is that of a Wheldon Road native & He is Castleford through & through. His story begins with Schoolboy RL & he played well above his age & played town team. Cas Grammar was next & the code was union so he played that until 17s. Via a short stint at Leeds Rhinos he returned to his beloved Castleford Tigers & progressed to the first team alongside his idols on the field. His career on & off the field was developing nicely but soon RL was his full time job first as a conditioner but then as a coach both assistant & head coach roles. A career including Bramley, RFL, PSG, Sheffield Eagles, England, GB, Wales RL, Wigan Warriors Hull FC - Official page Wakefield Trinity Bradford Bulls RLFC & Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club. He also brings knowledge & passion to our eyes & ears as a pundit for BBC Sport. Ladies & Gents Mr John Kear.
