As part of our ongoing series to raise awareness about the local candidates running for the Montgomeryshire & Glyndwr seat at the July 4 General Election, we meet Glyn Preston representing the Liberal Democrats.
The youngest candidate by some distance, Mr Preston believes the Liberal Democrats can bounce back to become a local force once again.

A marvellous occasion for the town as 89 riders set off for the opening leg of the Tour of Britain Women race from Welshpool.
Nearly 90 miles ahead of them before they finish at Llandudno this afternoon.

It’s early in the day but the crowd is big in number and enthusiastic, despite the gloomy weather overhead.
