A big thank you to Christine Tuffin for such a brilliant selection of photographs at Laura's Tractor Run. What a fabulous day - and from what we've heard, there were 160 tractors, up from 120 last year. Fantastic!

The judges said, 'it was a charming story, elegantly told.' 'A lovely descriptive poem about wildlife and its anticipation of spring.' Many congratulations.
'ROBIN'S QUEST' by Rebecca Benjamin. Read by the author.
The judges thought this poem had: 'Glorious images'. 'Nice pace and language'. 'Delicious to have the bird's perspective'. 'Typical robin!'
'ODE TO THE BUGS OF TYSOE' by Dawn Short. Read by Jackie Keyser.
The judges made the following comments: 'A clever interpretation of 'bugs'; 'excellent sentiments!' 'An interesting poem with a clear message about bugs - wild ones and litter bugs!'
'NATURE IN THE RAW' by Anonymous. Read by Shirley Cherry. The judges comments: "Nice spotlight on the plight of our feathered friends," "Rich imagery", "Interesting structure, imaginative descriptions and written with feeling.
