I've not bowled for a month and it was noticeable.. but I felt it out.

Not a lot of strikes today (9%), but it was purely lack of practice.

Spares today were generally very decent 60% 😃

THREE 7-9-10 split conversions were the highlight.

Spares excellent today in general and up in my high-end percentage, but I just couldn't get the carry going consistently on strikes.

Still a good performance I feel, given I'm carrying a cold.

Next up.. league bowling 🎳💪

I didn't hit the heights of previous weeks, but there was a lot of positives to take out of today's practice session.

I just couldn't get the carry today, but with a bit more focus on a couple of spares, these were all 180 games.

I've been thinking of collaborating with ND bowlers (all ages and abilities) and bowling centres (that actively promote ND bowlers online) to create an online monthly tournament based around ND bowler's monthly high scores.

All it would need is the scorecard (with any handicap) and the bowlers age/name/location.

Day 3 - Autism Inclusive Pinfall Challenge - final day!

I've done it again! 💪 I'm starting to think I've a shot at being a fairly decent local league bowler!

Four new honour scores for the 2nd week running 🫡

A new three game series:

Total Pinfall: 517 (688)

Note: The noise of open bowlers once they start to ramp up is definitely an issue. I went from 185 to 96, but bounced back to nearly pb again, so it is a concentration/focus issue.

Having Dan Harding randomly on the lane next to me though for a few minutes was very cool and that gave me that focus back that I needed.

The inner mental competitive streak definitely comes out!

I can't wait to join league bowling tbh 😀

A practice session at Atlantic Bowl today.

I've not been to Alty on a weekday morning before, so was looking forward to it after the BTBA event there yesterday.

I'm also carrying recovering foot injuries, so the aim today was just to bowl without pain and see what happens, as I've not bowled much lately at all in the past month.

I still managed 133 and 135 (190/197) and had a lot of very difficult spares which ultimately dropped me below 150 today.

I'm hooking my spares now, too so there will be a few errors there as I adjust.

Sometimes, you just have to be kind to yourself and I probably did well today in reality, given the hurdles I face anyway 👍

MBS do incredible work in the local area.

Heather and Mark were amazing earlier in the year in what was a very dysregulating and upsetting time for me, and so I wanted to thank them in this way.

After what seems like weeks and weeks.. I'm back on the lanes tomorrow at Atlantic Bowl 🎳😀

And a new month means.. a new challenge 💪

November's challenge is in aid of my newest charity partner, Autism Inclusive and I will be setting the bar for a handicap pinfall challenge (+55) over 12 'competitive' games.
