📍 Blenheim Palace, Icons of British Fashion Exhibition.
Yesterday, some of our team headed off to Oxford to a super exciting event, exploring fashion from the past through to the present day.✨ The exhibition featured bespoke designs and loans from some huge names in the fashion world.
We’ve come away feeling truly inspired 👀

Ecrubox goes walking 🐶🚶♂️
We recognise how important work-life balance is, so it's really important that all our staff get a chance to step away from their desk, grab some fresh air and reset for the afternoon!
We block out a set hour every day so that everyone has the opportunity to get some breathing space from their busy day. Even better, those based at our HQ get to explore the beautiful attractions in Worcester 🧡
Here are some snaps of our team enjoying their walks this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.
We are proud to announce that eBob has been nominated for the Software Innovation award at the UK Digital Excellence Awards! 🎉
"eBob" (Ecrubox Onboarding), is our smashingly smart, client onboarding system, created by our very own Head of Magic, Alex Sass, and his mega-star software chap, Ian Sheldon.
- Provides a complete agency:client onboarding process
- Assists new teams and new clients unlock evasive USPs
- Uses advanced surveying to capture and measure brand quirks
- Auto-runs our specialist first-step workshop, fuelled with data
- Designed for marketing, getting right to the soul of a strategy
There’s no surprise that eBob has been nominated when it will solve a pain-point for agencies and clients alike with a very human yet geek driven framework. The first days and weeks of revealing data, strategy and even exchanging vital files can now be handled intelligently and efficiently. Ecrubox is the first agency in the world to have access to eBob and designed the process and technology from scratch with input from all of our sector specialists! 🧡

Ecrubox 6th Birthday!
🎈🍰 Six years of teamwork and it’s time for an Ecrubox sugar-fuelled celebration! 🚀 Amidst the coding sprints and creative marathons, we squeezed in a quick bake-off at lunchtime. 🍪
Full-on fabulous festivities will ensue once we hit ‘pause’ on our productivity playlist. A massive thank you to the incredible people here (and their baking prowess) as well as our brilliant clients for making each year rise even higher than the last.
Here’s to many more! 🥂

There's been a change | Love Island 2023
This year’s love island contestants have been banned from allowing friends and family to take over their social media accounts during their time on the show. This has been put in place to protect the islander’s families after over 5000 Ofcom complaints in last year’s show. This means no more memes, no engagement with the audience and no community created through their pages.
So what could this mean for their social media presence and post-show success?
Well, it could make it harder for them to pick up brand deals in the future if their following post-show doesn’t increase to the likes of other islands in past series for starters. Or what if they are already a social media superstar? Maybe this period of dormancy means they take a hit on the success already gained?
This could mean brand collaborations might move forward into genuine, authentic relationships that don’t solely rely on the number of followers the islander has, something that has been seen in previous series. But this does mean islanders will have to spend time growing their pages post-show to gain the trust from brands.
So far, we’re not seeing islanders gain notable gains in their following, but maybe it’s too soon to say, let’s keep an eye on it 👀

Here's what some of the team got up to on their "Carpe Diem" day 🙌
Two weeks ago the Ecrubox team received an email on Thursday morning telling us that the agency was to shut down on Friday (which also happened to be the hottest day of the year so far!) ☀️
We were instructed to sleep, or not sleep, enjoy the sunshine, or not enjoy the sunshine - whatever we needed to do to recharge - as long as it meant NOT logging on to work! And the cherry on the cake? We were also treated to ice cream! 🍦

TikTok Avatars
TikTok have announced a new Avatar feature, allowing users to express themselves by covering their faces with customisable avatars that match real-world movements!
Design your own, or select a predesigned avatar, this new feature suggests how TikTok are staying in touch with the next phase of digital connection. Building avatar tools will increasingly align with user behaviour shifts, while also helping to maintain connection with user's presence in each app.
This question is, how long do we need to wait until we can start dressing ourselves digitally? Apparently Meta and Snap are already looking into it. Watch this space 👀
