I'm inspired by this man every day 🧡

This week Nate (my husband) re-opened his venue, Nebula and it has been packed ever since.

Nate and I have actually worked together since the day we met and I have learned so much from him. He's the first person I turn to when I have a business question, the one who always supports me, and the one who does the washing up.

So to see his venue alive again and filled with smiling faces brings me so much joy.

This isn't a social media post, but it needed to be said ✌️

Ginarte is a collaboration between an Italian Gin & the Frida Khalo Corporation, a non-profit that promotes the work & art of Frida Khalo. They've used botanicals that not only give the Gin a unique, vibrant flavour buy were also used by Renaissance painters to create colour pigments. ⁠

This is the story of how I built my entire business using only social media.

2 years ago I started DrinkswithH**e with no experience in owning or running a business and I was terrified. I had no idea how I was going to get started, but social media had my back. I saw a Facebook post that a new distillery was looking for a Social Media manager and knew this was my opportunity.

I spoke to friends, got as much advice as I could and wrote my pitch. Within a week I had signed them as my first client.

I understood how valuable Social Media was in building my business and finding long term growth. I worked at it constantly. I studied (I still do). I adapted. And soon I found myself fully booked.

Now, you may be surprised to hear that I've never used ads to find clients. I've never needed to. My strategy draws my ideal client to me. And with less than 2000 followers I get enquiries every week because my content does the work for me.

I have so many exciting plans in the works to help you to do the same, so stay tuned!

Your girl has only gone and got her WSET Level 2 in spirits qualification (with a distinction of course)!

I've known this for quite some time, but I wanted to wait until the certificate arrived to share the news.

Thank you so much to The Mixing Class for giving me the opportunity to do the course, it was an absolute joy and if you're looking to get a spirits qualification I couldn't recommend them enough!

Time for a celebratory drink I think!

You know I adore a margarita, but I’d never made myself one! Although I didn’t make it 100% to the recipe, it was bloody divine. Citrus & tequila are best friends, so if you’ve got a blood orange or two I really recommend trying this.
