The Russian aggression against Ukraine continues. It has been met with almost unanimous condemnation in the West. Almost - as there were some who decided to side with the aggressor, either explicitly or ambiguously. Especially disappointing were such voices from the left.

Read a piece by Izabela Jablonska in which she emphasises the importance of gestures in a world dominated by digital communication.

The EU has a long-standing tradition of political and economic cooperation. But what about the military? Following the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the question of creating a European army is more vital than ever before. But is that even a possibility? And how would such an army relate to existing alliances - the UN and NATO?

“Dochodzę do wniosku, że teza o zjednoczeniu w sytuacjach zagrożenia czy konfliktu, nie jest błędna, ale wybiórcza. Na pewno nie odniosłabym jej do całej Polski. Raczej do grup albo osób, które już wcześniej nie byłby sobie bardzo odległe, a teraz przymrużyły oczko na niektóre sprawy.”

Not so long ago, all EU citizens were able to apply for a loan that covered the 9,000 pounds a year tuition fees. Following Brexit, the UK government withdrew from the program, effectively taking away the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom to tens of thousands of prospective students.

Save EU Students is an initiative started as a response to these cuts. Read about their fight for a better future for all EU citizens interested in studying in the UK.
