Mystical talisman of diggers, renowned live performer of sonic healing rituals, maker of records, climber of mountains, breaker of hearts (possibly) and one of the Cowgate's biggest losses of recent times makes his return to Sneaky Pete's!

is an inspiring figure for us Lion fellaes (not even just saying that for the purposes of writing an impressive blurb) - part of the venerable Firecracker Recordings family and lynchpin of Mac Talla Nan Creag, effortlessly talented musician - last time he played one of our dances was our second birthday at the Biscuit Factory in 2016 (begod!) so it's about time he came back. And back he comes, alongside our supreme leader , naturally - a combination that hasn't happened in this form until now. Very, very keen for this we are!

So stoked to bring the sublime back to Sneaks tomorrow to kick off our 10th year!

Dance music royalty in her hometown Lisbon, co-founder of and putting out the BEST records on her own imprint 'Naive' (much of which you will have heard at past Lionoil parties) - Violet last played with us in Edinburgh across the road at the Bongo back in 2018 with Lena Willikens, what a party that was.

As well as making her mark as a producer and much revered DJ, she is a bastion of inclusiveness and openness in the dance music space, resident at q***r party Mina, whilst platforming and amplifying q***r and trans DJs and producers in her sets and through the label. A legend.

Very flipping excited to kick off our 10th year of parties with this peach! 🎈

One of our top top past guests and favourite people finally takes the reigns in Sneaks. Her label Naive, inspirational outlook and many many iconic sets, mixes and radio shows are so aligned with what we've tried to be about for the last decade - this one will be very special.

We're also delighted to welcome along prominent Edinburgh deep cut enthusiast and prolific maker of excellent mixes .noodle for a first Lionoil outing. A perfect pairing we reckon, teed up pleasantly by our own of course.

Lionoil is 9 years old, can you believe it!

9 years ago, we welcomed Aussie label into the Wee Red Bar for a secret dance. Then DJ Yves hosted experimental gatherings upstairs in the Mash House. Bake and Telfort tore the attic apart. We released 8 records, one cassette and a dubplate.

We've welcomed iconic performances from Soichi Terada, Lena Willikens, Eris Drew, Violet, Move D, Bradley Zero among many others. And we move...

For this momentous novennial celebration, we're going back to basics with an increasingly rare all night back to back from and - two of most seasoned veteran residents. Expect heaters, sweaters, jumpers and movers from open to close.

We have a GIANT Lionoilapalooza fringeathon closer to sweat out the last Friday of the month this weekend, with the long awaited return of DJ .0 - a truly masterful presence in the booth who warmed up the room for wonderfully for us in that time before the thing happened.

We're super stoked to welcome her back to close things off, this time with afore.
