Today BMS students in Years 8-13 were joined by a group of students from Castle Newnham School for a performance of ‘La Maison Hantée’ in the Howard Hall. The 45-minute play, which was performed entirely in French by actors from Onatti Productions Ltd, follows the story of two friends sheltering from the rain in an eerie house in the woods. The students applied their language skills well and enjoyed the audience participation.

Year 9 and 10 French students - (along with 16 students from Claverham Community College) -attended a performance of "La Maison Hantée" from Onatti Productions in our Performing Arts Centre. The event; funded by FOBAS, was a really success. Alejandra (Year 9) and Natalie (Year 10) were called on stage to play in some of the scenes and did themselves proud! We were thrilled to receive a visit from Onatti Productions Ltd on Friday, where they performed the play ‘Mi Personalidad’ in our very own Queen Elizabeth Theatre! 🎭

A big thank you to our Spanish teacher, Ms Sanz , who helped to arrange for the production team at Onatti to join us at ISA – letting our high school and IB language students immerse themselves in the dialect whilst having fun in the process… and even getting some of our very own ISA superstars on stage!

Not only did the play showcase a true Spanish performance in action, but we hope that the story resonated with many of our students, as the key message ‘just be YOU!’ is something that we actively encourage here at ISA 💛

A big thank you to Onatti Productions Ltd for performing ‘Mi personalidad’ to our Year 8-11 pupils. We thoroughly enjoyed your visit. The Senior School pupils got to practise their Spanish listening skills whilst being entertained by the performance. There was lots of fun pupil participation throughout and a Q&A session in Spanish at the end.

A big thank you to Onatti Productions Ltd for performing at our School yesterday. Our Year 7, 8 & 9 pupils thoroughly enjoyed your French production of ‘Mon père ne me comprend pas’. The two actors engaged the pupils brilliantly and with the help of technology a plethora of additional characters also joined the storyline. Due to the visual nature of the performance it was easy to follow the plot. A wonderful afternoon of fun and Français!

‘En el campamento’ 🎭

Our HS Spanish students recently watched a Spanish play at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, which was performed by professional Spanish actors from Onatti Productions Ltd.

The students were amazed at how much Spanish they actually knew and were able to piece together any bits they were unsure of through actions and gestures.

What a great way to put skills into practise, all whilst enjoying an amazing show.
