Nominations for our exec elections are now open! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The elections are taking place on Monday 10th March at 6pm in SO.11. where you will be expected to give a 1 minute speech.

you can apply for up to 3 roles!

The nomination form will be open from now until 12pm on Sunday 9th March.

You will need a RAW membership to run for a position and to vote in the elections. You can get this on the SU website.

Do you like purple? Do you like drinking games? Well I don’t care what your answer is because IT’S TIME FOR CIRCLE HURRAH 🥳🥳🥳

Join us at The Oaks Rooftop Terrace, where we’ll be circling in our worst outfits possible - that’s right, I want you to commit crimes not just against your livers, but also against all of fashion! Drip should be nonexistent and if I’m not crying from how ugly you look do better at being bad 🤢🤢🤢

Please note, however, that this will be a *bring your own alcohol* type event, so please bring your own alcohol (or don’t I’m not your mom)! There will be some soft drinks provided, but please try to bring your own drink regardless!

Want to become a RAW DEPUTY ??!!

Term 2 is a treat time to be more involved as we have lots of exciting events across departments!

We are looking for deputies for:
* All on-air departments (News, Sports, Music, Arts, Speech)
* Visuals
* Production
* Marketing and Publicity
* Tech deputies

We’d love to get loads of sign-ups, this is a great way to get involved with the exec and our major events which are loads of fun! If you have any questions ask on the form or give us a message and we’ll be more than happy to answer.

13th December at midday and we will announce the deputies on Friday 3rd
January, informing the deputies sooner.‼️‼️

SOUND MIXING AND RECORDING
101 🎧🎵🎤

We are happy to announce a collaboration with Warwick Filmmaking Society!! 🎥🎬

This collaboration will allow those interested in sound design to firstly attend a lecture on the basics of sound for filmmaking and secondly a hands-on workshop led by Ryan Zhao💪💪.

This is a great opportunity for both those interested in sound design and filmmaking. 🙌This event will allow you to gain an insight into an essential part of filmmaking as well as a way to meet and connect with fellow filmmakers! You will be able to see equipment used for sound design and understand what it means to mix and record.

We are happy to announce the first social of the academic year!

It’s been an action-packed first week for everyone, so come join RAW for a casual pub meal at the Clarendon in Leamington Spa on Saturday 7pm! Unwind, grab something to eat and drink, and have a good time as you recover from the first week. ✌️

A few of your exec will be meeting up at the university bus interchange at 6:30pm, so no need to worry about stumbling around Leamington for those who haven’t been there before! ⭐️⭐️
