A Stress-Free Guide to Renewing Your Nigerian Passport.

Renewing your Nigerian passport can be a daunting process, but with proper planning, it can be easy. The renewal process typically takes four to six months. It is highly recommended to apply for renewal six months before your passport's expiration date.

Here is a step-by-step guide.

1. Application: Visit the official portal and website at https://passportintl.immigration.gov.ng/ to initiate your passport renewal.

2. Documentation: Ensure you have the necessary documents, which usually include:
- Your current passport

- National Identification Number (NIN)

Additional documents may be needed for applicants under 18 years or those changing their name due to marriage or divorce. For complete requirements, visit the Nigerian High Commission website.

3. Appointment Scheduling:
After completing the passport application form, schedule an appointment through https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/checkPassportStatus

4. Interview Preparation: On your appointment day, arrive early (by 9 am) with:

- Your old passport

- The £20 UK postal order (with your name and address on the back)

- Self-Addressed Royal Mail C4 Special Delivery Envelope

- Printed copy of your passport application form_

- Acknowledgment slip and evidence of payment

After your data is captured, submit the self-addressed envelope. You will be given an estimated timeline of four to six weeks for receiving your new passport. A WhatsApp number will be provided for inquiries if your passport does not arrive on the expected date. Expect your passport to arrive within the stipulated time without needing personal connections or lobbying.

5. Timing is Key: As stated above, start the renewal process at least six months before expiration to avoid delays.

6. Traveling with an Expired Passport: If an emergency arises that requires travel to Nigeria, you can travel with your expired passport and the confirmation slip of your appointment. Ensure you travel on a direct flight to Nigeria. If you have a British passport, (or dual other passport) keep it handy.

7. 10-Year Passport: If you can afford it instead of a 5-year one is ideal.

God Showed Up For Us In London

On the 18th May 2024, at the pop-up market organised by New Testament Church of God (NTCG) Charlton, London, Nature Faithfuls blessed some people with our natural skincare products.

God Works In A Mysterious Way
A lady came to our table to see what we had to offer. A total stranger. She asked a few questions about our ingredients and bought our natural skincare products.

This is What God Says
“My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my plans than your plans”.- Isaiah 55:8-9

This is What God Did
The wonderful lady found a seat and sat down some feet away from Nature Faithfuls’ table. All of a sudden, someone was calling “Sugar, Sugar” my spirit told me that she was referring to me.
So, I turned around to confirm. Then some ladies said it was me she was calling. Of Course I responded, “I am the only Sugar here today”
I walked closer to where she sat, then she introduced another lady to me and told the lady to go with me, to see Nature Faithfuls’ natural skincare products. This lady also bought some natural skincare products from us.

Sister Okwesi became our Angel-in -human-form at the pop-up market.
What amazed me was how she was able to convince people to buy Nature Faithfuls’ natural skincare products without any hassles.
Sister Okwesi sent more than five people to our table and all of them bought our Nature Faithfuls’ natural skincare products.

I stand to be corrected but I think Nature Faithfuls sold more products at the pop- up market than other vendors.
It’s amazing to see the power and favour of God at work in our business.

From the products we sold, we paid our tithe and offering to the church that organised the pop-up market, New Testament Church of God (NTCG) Charlton, London.
