I have never really taken photos of food before, other than a dominos pizza at home, with my phone. But these came out great.

We didn’t have long as we were using natural light and started late in the day but got what we needed for now.

A passion of mine is to film documentaries. I was never academic enough to pursue a journalism career, I use to struggle with words, but not picture.

The visual side worked for me. Overtime I realised I couldn’t just write something from the top of my head, I’d have to visualise a scene first, camera angles, depth of field, close shot, see the actors faces, emotion. Then I can begin writing a story behind what I’ve just seen.

Now 2024, 39 years old, I have written a couple of short films and have documentaries filming this year!!

I was shooting a bit of video for and thought let’s just make a little documentary on the spot.

1 hours filming and 2 hours editing. This was the result.

90 Minutes away from Reality
