Here’s a shot from the studio recording session in London for S.O.S (Same Old Story), which is my new single out today!

As a lover of the Motown style, I was instantly drawn to this song - the clever lyric listing off all the men who have ‘wronged’ the girl and their faults brought a smile to my face - I am sure some are relatable to you too!

You can see the harmony lines and the many oooh and ahhh phrases added to the backing vocals, handwritten on the lyric sheet.

Gordon Pogoda and Robert Martinez wrote a cracking song and I’m honoured they were happy for me to record it.
