Hi everyone!! My name is Halima Ahad (she/her), going into second year English and Creative Writing and I’m so excited that I’m going to be one of your Culture Editors this year 💛

I love everything to do with culture; whether that be books or theatre shows. I love to get stuck in with whatever is going on at the moment, especially what book has recently come out or whoever has won the most recent prize. My comfort series have to be the We Hunt The Flame duology by Hafsah Faizal and The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy by Jenny Han 🥰

I’m so thrilled to work on print as well as online pages for the section and can’t wait to see what I get out of this once in a lifetime opportunity 💞

(here is a picture of me in my traditional Eid clothes if you’re curious about my own culture, I’m Pakistani!)
