Life as a freelancer can be challenging for your mental health. A lot of stress and decisions that rest purely on your shoulders.
But how do you prioritise your mental health as a freelancer?
I used to feel guilty about taking a nap during the day because I thought I should be more productive during the day. But now Ive realised that putting my head down for an hour (sometimes 2 😬) helps give me a bit of clarity and makes me a more pleasant person to be around!
It's a cliché but getting some vitamin D, even if it's just a walk up to Tesco, can give me the much needed boost that I need!
And who hasn't spent many an evening doomscrolling on their phone while watching tv in the evening? Last year I got really into cross stitch - it's very satisfying and therapeutic but also requires a level of concentration. Except to see a reel of my completed designs very soon!
