CONFLUENCE: WHERE THE DELTA MEETS THE WORLD / CONFLUENCE IS A LITERARY MAGAZINE FROM WORDSMITHERY. WE WILL BE PUBLISHING TWO TIMES A YEAR.The Wordsmithery live lit organisation and publisher has been active in the Kent literary scene running various literary projects since 2010. We have been thinking about putting a magazine together to showcase the best of what the area has to offer for some time

.But we wanted to include writers from other deltas too, so that we could mix and merge like the tides. Check out the Wordsmithery group on here to learn more about what we do - or visit our website at www.wordsmithery.info

Issue 16 is now available to pre-order. 🎉🎉

Featuring a selection of our favourite writing from the first 15 issues this is a great read to take on holiday! (At 172 pages we couldn't fit in everything we loved and had to make some hard decisions about the longlist, so don't feel too bad if your writing wasn't in there!)

With glorious full colour images by Michi Masumi, this is an issue that gives a great snapshot into Confluence past and present.
We're only getting a limited print run, so if you want a copy, please reserve it now, by ordering in advance. Your copy will be posted 16 Aug.

Profits from this one will go straight back into this year's Medway River Lit.

We published David Cramer Smith in Confluence Medway issue 1 - now he's coming back to Medway to talk about his novel! Come and have a listen if you're local!

🎉 Our first 'Authors Talk' event is on 2 March. 🎉 David Cramer Smith was published in our magazine Confluence Medway in our very first issue! Since then Confluence has come a long way and so has David! 🖊️ His first novel 'Medway' has been described as a love letter to the authentic Medway.

" On a whim Jamie Sinclair decides to leave his toxic relationship and move back to his parents’ house, to see if his hometown can fix him. But three questions need to be answered: Can he be fixed? Can a place fix someone? And what does it mean to be fixed?"

✈️ David will be coming all the way back from Australia where he now lives and we are delighted to be talking to him as part of Medway River Lit!

Book your place on what is bound to be a fascinating talk, with Medway libraries. (Phone, pop in or use the Spydus app.)
