It was great to listen to the brilliant wine presenter this weekend.

One session was called Planet Wine, and included wines brands that cared about the future of our world, and took significant steps to ensure they used sustainable farming practices.
Jane also spoke about 'light weighting' which has done across its entire range.

- voted 'Winery of the Year' in the Halliday Companion Awards 2025 - was also included in the Planet Wines tasting.

This is the Applejack Vineyard at Giant Steps winery in Australia.
The Applejack Pinot Noir 2023 has been named 'Best Pinot Noir' at the Halliday Wine Companion Awards 2025!
Giant Steps was also voted 'Winery of the Year'.
This is a fantastic accolade, which positions it as a world-class producer of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay.

We will be celebrating Burns Night with a delicious wine from Château Lassègue.

A grand cru wine from vineyards located to the east side of St. Emilion town, this 2015 vintage is special. recommended it last year, and .anson gave it a score of 93.

We think it is - and will remain for a few more years - a perfect wine to pair with haggis, buttered potatoes, carrots and 'neeos'. Happy Burns Night!

Tasting notes: Ripe plums and dried cassis provide sumptuous aromas while hints of orange peel, all spice and fresh cinnamon beckon. A velvety, merlot-driven mid-palate slowly opens into a multi-layered bouquet of red fruit, toasted spices and coffee bean. An iron-rich minerality gives it a complex structure while the tannins and acidity result in a long and elegant finish.

What a stand! is the Show Stand at the this Bank Holiday weekend, and it is worth a visit!

You can taste their vodka made with 🐑 milk and meet some of the Black Lion sheep and very cute Valais lambs.

There is lots to see, an impressive list of wine tastings offered throughout the day with .wine, chef demonstrations and cocktail masterclasses.

Great to see Gold Cup new cocktail at The Cheltenham Eve party in the Cotswolds.
Created by cocktail legend , it is absolutely delicious and incredibly easy to make if you have some , strawberry purée, sparkling rose & a little Grenadine. The perfect cocktail to enjoy at the Cheltenham Festival this week!

What a fantastic visit to last week; a hidden gem at Fjinbosch Farm in Stellenbosch. We sat beneath the vineyards, surrounded by the most breathtaking, high altitude natural landscape and tasted their three world class, site expressive chardonnay wines: Silene, Capensis and Fjinbosch. A treat indeed...

Fijnbosch Farm is the beautiful home of in South Africa.
There are now three incredible chardonnay wines produced here called Silene, Capensis and from the best block of the vintage, Fjinbosch.

Today is apparently National Vodka Day, so we wanted to feature this deliciously smooth vodka made in the Cotswolds. is made with the whey from a rare sheep's milk.

The whey is a byproduct of the manufacturing of cheese so would otherwise be thrown away. Now that's what I call an eco friendly product!

Our Queen Elizabeth II was a hugely respected and loved figure in all our lives. She was an embodiment of unity and consistency. We will miss her hugely.
