We at rainbow dog rescue took in an emergency heavily pregnant dog on Friday… the poor soul wasn’t able to give birth naturally so she had to have a C-section… the cost will be around £2-3000… we are asking if you could spare even £1 towards the vet bill to help us please.

Don't forget! Starting today (29 May) Wombourne HWRC is partially reopening.

You'll be able to visit and dispose of household waste. The site will be accepting general, bulky, wood and garden waste.

Wombourne Recycling Centre will be open Wednesday - Sunday from 10am – 5pm.

Due to the limited space, access will be limited to a maximum of four cars at one time – vans, trailers and trade waste will not be accepted.

Bilbrook is also still open for residents to use. And, if you have a qualifying South Staffordshire postcode, you can book a ten-minute slot at Dudley HWRC.

We are looking for volunteers to come help with our animals, lots and lots of chickens, alpacas, mini ponies, mini pigs, pygmy goats, amongst other things. It is hard work, lots of cleaning out, so needs to be very animal orientated, not afraid to get dirty, be able to make their own way here, be able to clean out animals unsupervised. Ponies need grooming, goats will need playing with and walking. Pigs need their scratches, alpacas need gentle handling and cuddles. Chickens, well, they just crap everywhere but are quite funny. If you think you would enjoy doing this or know someone who may then please message us. Over 18 years and upwards only. Thanks

Do you have any odd tins of dog food, gathering dust in your pantry ? Maybe your dog has gone off a certain brand or flavour & you would like to donate it to a kennel dog awaiting their forever home ? We use any brand, any flavour, for any breed as a yummy 'mixer' to add to our greyhounds kibble and veg. We accept donations at our Wombourne site between 9am and 3pm daily, if anyone would like to help ? Thank you so much🐾
