Arrived just in time to see this big girl landing!
Concluding our visit to Mobility Now & Drone Summit back in March 2024, we went back to the hotel where Carlos Stebbings spoke with Allan Whyte, one of our loyal listeners.
Allan was instrumental in helping us with the logistics and transport for this event and all of us at Plane Talking UK Podcast would like to pass on our thanks to Allan for all his hard work on our behalf.
That was a wrap!
Susan James of Premier Publishing & Events Ltd spoke with Nevil Bounds about the challengers of staging the Mobility Now & Drone Summit at the RDS in Dublin in March 2024.
The whole team at Plane Talking UK Podcast would like to thank Susan for her wonderful hospitality and tremendous efforts for making this event such a success. It also gave us and our viewers and listeners a fascinating insight into this latest technology and how it is deployed.
At the recent Mobility Now & Drone Summit, Matthew Clutterbuck spoke with Colm O'Donnell of Uspace Aero about his company's work and also his personal journey into drone operations and training.
Colm is an Airline Captain, an expert at training, testing and licencing drone pilots to 75kg for the private and public sector. He provides routes to IAA approved licensing for prospective drone pilots and support clients with shared usage air space assessments.
In implementing Con-Ops, operations manuals and SOPs he focuses on resolving areas of conflicting overlap and risk deploying bespoke safety and compliance procedures that meet IAA approval.
Our very own Matt Smith spoke with Darren at First Person View (FPV) about what started out as a hobby, but quickly turned into a much larger project. Darren helps to bring together like minded people in his club showing them how to get the best out of their drones, how to train properly for flying them and to stay within the law.
As you'll be able to see, Darren gave Matt the chance to try out some of the drone simulator technology that was being demonstrated on their stand with, er, mixed results shall we say...
