When I was younger, I used to watch the tennis on the TV and especially the guys like McEnroe, Borg and Nastase. Round about Wimbledon time, my brother Alex and I would play a kind of tennis out on our grandfather’s lawn. I would take on the role of John McEnroe and he would enact … Continue rea...

Publish and enjoy the damnation.

I've wanted to write fiction for many years and have finally knuckled down to putting this desire into practice. My blog has encouraged me to spread out and try out many different forms. 'Confessions of an Ageing Tennis Player' was my first foray into going public - but I have lots more to share on an unsuspecting public. My recent book ‘Mess Theory’ gives me an opportunity to explore all-things-creative, albeit from a slightly oblique point of view.

Keep an eye out for the next ‘Confessions of an Ageing... ’, due out in late 2019, the third in a pentology (if that’s a real word) of ‘Confessions…’ stories.
