Rob Small Mastering LTD - An Electronic Music Mastering solution for both signed and unsigned artists, record labels and artist management. As a sound engineer, Rob Small needs little to no introduction; with nearly 2 decades of experience in the music industry under his belt; Rob has worked as a sound engineer, mastering engineer, music producer, a consultant to artists and record labels, has wor

ked in A&R, and spent many years as a touring Dj playing alongside the likes of Sasha, Yousef, Paul Woolford, Darius Syrossian, Marshall Jefferson and more. His service, Rob Small Mastering LTD, offers a more affordable mastering solution for artists which are either signed or unsigned, record labels and artist management, without the need to physically attend a studio session. His mastering studio and acoustics are custom made, the equipment & software used is high-end, and the monitoring and conversion is strictly mastering grade. And we’re off!

The first week back after the holidays and already starting with some great releases.

During the holidays, I did a lot of redesigning & reinvestment in the studio.

There’s now a fully functioning referencing room (room two), utilising the Focal SM9’s & sub, Amphion Loudspeakers ltd.'s lovely sounding One 18's, surround monitoring using Focal & Monitor Audio, with new referencing DAC’s for room two & additional DAC’s for the main mastering room; so now we have the Dangerous Music Convert system (Convert 2, AD+, Monitor ST etc), Kii Audio Remote for the Kii Three’s using either USB or Optical, RME ADI-2 Dac FS for referencing stuff catered more toward HiFi, and custom made signal routing via iOS to be able to route signals out of the main mastering room into room two & reference the audio on multiple systems in separate rooms, while being able to emulate different room modes & speaker systems. So after many hours of fiddling, head scratching and wiring, it’s safe to say that if it sounds good in the mastering room, and if it sounds good in the referencing room, then it’ll sound good pretty much everywhere.

For those of you that are into 3D printing; I’ve also started doing bits in the work shop where I’ll be designing studio accessories using CAD and 3D design, and uploading the designs for free over on Printables, starting off with a custom made Kii Three remote stand, and a cable rack (there’s some other really silly bits on my Printable page too that are just for fun). This is a work in progress so there’ll be more bits added over time, but if you have some ideas of what we can make then please send them over, and I’ll do my best if time allows (and it's not too complex!).

Huge congratulations to Sway-B for recently reaching No.1 in the Beatport top 100 releases chart! Still going strong at number 29 in the top 100 overall House releases.

Moody Disco have done phenomenally well with their releases this year, receiving great chart positions and support from the likes of Jamie Jones, wAFF, Sam Devine, Enzo Siragusa and many more.

To Florida, USA we go for our next release which comes from B. Riley producer / dj and label owner. We have chosen to revisit his track “Campside Floater” a track that tribal in flavour dark grooves, sensual vocals and grooves. Three new interpretations are introduced here. Firstly out of New York Mike Isai making his label debut complementing the original with a full on tribal / progressive workout. Darker vibes are stamped all over our second rendition from UK producer Kiz Pattison. The prolific Ranj Kaler drops another progressive breaks gem that we have now become accustomed to. Finally to round things off we have the Original.

OOPS He did it again!!. Congratulations once again to Ranj Kaler Music as his remix of Delta9 x Kin Izaguirre “Red Dwarf” has landed at the top of the Electronica Hype Chart today. This comes after his remix for our sister label hit the same summit back in April.

Many congratulations to Ranj we certainly could not have foreseen this. Well deserved. And thank you once again all that have supported this release so far. ❤️🙏🏾🪩
