A brilliant occasion! Thanks to the poets, the musicians, the Watch House volunteers, the IRON Press volunteers, the audiences who turned up in great numbers on a cold, rainy and windswept day. And thanks especially to the 50 (approx.) poets who turned up to perform and support. Finally thanks to poet laureate Simon Armitage and the Barnsley Bard Ian Mcmillan for sending their recorded greetings and poems.

The exhibits will make you smile, others may tug on your heartstrings, but Gail guarantees you will learn to think about home in very different ways by the time you leave.

The exhibition takes place in St.Mary’s Church on Claremont Gardens is open Friday 10 am to 4pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday is 2 pm to 5 pm.

There will be live acoustic music on Saturday.

Refreshments are available and there will also be some work for sale. All profits go towards next year's exhibition.
