The year of 2024 is coming to a close. So now is a time of reflection. This year I had five short stories released across both Shorts of the Rula and Alternate Extras of Halesowen. Along with talking about those, I also reflect on other things relating to my writing.

It's Morphin Time! A new Power Rangers game has arrived on consoles. Rita's Rewind is a lovely nostalgic blast of beat 'em up gameplay, with some nice alternate gameplay styles included. And a lot of love given to the zords. My experiences reveal all.

Later than I usually would thanks to some birthday fun, but with now ended for another year, I roundup the two weeks of greatness with this article. A huge thanks to the Yogscast for putting it all together to once again raise so much for charity.

The final game I'm looking at from the Games Collection is Orcs Must Die! 3. It's one I'm enjoying very much. So take a read of my experiences, and give some support to the Jingle Jam to get this and 17 other games for helping eight great charities.

Orcs Must Die! 3 is a lovely tower defence game, holding plenty of action in keeping these orcs at bay. There's plenty of choice in developing strategies here.

Another one of the Games Collection, Mars First Logistics combines building and delivering for a super lovely game. Easily recommended. If you want this game and 17 others, support the Jingle Jam, which runs through 14/December.

Mars First Logistics combines the freedom of building with the need to traverse difficult terrain on delivery jobs. And it works very well indeed.

As part of the Games Collection comes DeathSprint 66, a super fun on-foot racer. Such a game is one I've been wanting to see, and it is just as great as I wanted it to be. Take a read of my experiences and why not give some support to the Jingle Jam, too.

DeathSprint 66 has given me what I've always hoped to see in the form of an on-foot racing game. This chaotic racer is great fun.

New series! And is certainly a worthwhile watch. I was loving these first two episodes. There's a nice mystery being set up, with plenty of adventure vibes to be found. My review of these first two episodes reveals more.

Star Wars Skeleton Crew has arrived, offering a fun adventure in the galaxy far, far away. These first two episode promise a great rest of the series.

A series I hoped would return one day has now reappeared with the Cozy Bundle, bringing the first two games to a modern Nintendo system. I loved the first and hadn't played the second, so now I can play and love both equally. Take a read of my experiences of the two games.

A surprise, to be sure. But one I welcomed, as I wanted this series to make a return. The first two MySims games are here in this Cozy Bundle, which is lovely.

I've not played many main series games despite being invested in the franchise from its spin-offs. So the announcement of remakes for the first three games had me thinking that is a very good place to start. And so here are my experiences with III HD-2D Remake.

With the arrival of , I'm sinking deep into the farming fever once again. New crops, tools, and a lovely level of detail not seen in the series before. My experiences with the new game reveal all of what I have discovered about it so far.

Farming Simulator 25 is here, allowing for an expanded roster of crops, vehicles, and equipment. Improved UI and graphical detail, too.

A new Mario & Luigi game has arrived on the Switch, and this one is such a delight to play. A lovely RPG with plenty of fun characters and interactions to discover, my experiences show just how much I'm loving it.

It's been a long time since the last true Mario & Luigi game, and the Switch has been given one at last. Mario & Luigi Brothership is such a lovely time.

I loved the first Planet Coaster, so to get a second one which adds water park elements and the ability to freely wander parks... I was always going to be buying it. And I'm very much enjoying it, as you can see with my experiences.

Planet Coaster 2 has improved upon what Frontier delivered with the first, making this pretty much the definitive version of the game.

This has been a fun series, thinking up ideas for a load of games I jokingly said would be part of the Switch successor's launch line-up over a year ago. And it's ending with some good ones. Of course, I had to end the entire series with something I really want to see happen.

Sonic Generations has always been a special one for me, and now there's a second part to it with a new Shadow focused story. Both sides of Generations are full of joy, with Shadow's story especially being interesting for the interactions it brings.

The release of Sonic X Shadow Generations brings a great game from the past and adds a new story onto it. Which is just as great.
