Pedro Almeida originally from Marinha Grande, Portugal, now living in London, UK, is the person behind the project Universum Psy which focuses on creating a mixture of Experimental and Hitech music. Universum Psy stands out as a true visionary in the rapidly changing world of electronic music, breaking down barriers and reinventing what is possible in the psytrance genre. His music is proof of the power of sound and its capacity to get beyond barriers of language and culture. Originally from southern China and the Andes of Ecuador, respectively, they met at university in Germany, where they are now based. Their avant-garde sound is a fusion of deep, groovy basslines combined with elements of aboriginal and classical music, such as counterpoint techniques, orchestral, and indigenous instruments All spiced up with human language, experimental soundscapes, and crunchy FM leads. The name of Fughetta & Fugato takes its name from the concept of "fugue." A contrapuntal, polyphonic compositional technique from baroque music. Inspired by nature, art, literature, history, and mythology, each of their compositions is born on the piano and has an enlightening story to tell. As such, their life purpose is to protect ancient cultures and the essence of humanity through their music. EP description: Fughetta & Fugatos debut EP "Viddy Well" is the result of countless hours of music study and production. Ranging from 118 to 122 BPM, this EP uses the organ, described by Mozart as the "king of all instruments," as one of the main components in each track.
