Lost Wasp Records A semi-existent record label currently based in Galloway. We believe it to be seminal. And here we are on facebook. Love and hugs to all and sundry.

Lost Wasp was the label the Beaker People (an Aberdonian indie-folk trio of the early 2000s) released their seminal and completely ignored albums under. Beaker Person Alan McClure resurrected the name in 2012 for his new band the Razorbills and their album, 'To Hell With Youth and Beauty'. Needless to say this album is also seminal but has been slightly less roundly ingnored than the Beaker People

classics, 'Pompous Irksome Stance' and 'The More You Know the Less the Better'. As of December 2012 we are proud to welcome Sir Ted Percy to our hymenopteran harem with the release of his long-awaited (70 years or so) album 'All That I Could Think of at the Time'. It may even be possible to acquire some music through this page at some point in the future when our business acumen overtakes our rampant apathy.

Magic Marcus lowping the final album hurdles with his usual savoir faire. I've loved witnessing his brilliant input on this wee oddity - a privilege and a joy to work with him! Album dropping very soon, folks - keep yer eyes peeled!
