From Weds 19th - Sat 22nd Feb children can put their detective hats on and take part in the 'Whodunit' trail, uncovering the mystery behind rules and punishment at the former workhouse. Also, on the 20th and 22nd Feb, families can meet costumed characters and learn about what life was like living there!🏚⏳
⭐Clumber Park NT, Worksop
On Weds 19th and Thurs 20th Feb children can join the team at Lake Brew, in Hardwick village, to build a bug hotel!🐞🐛 Also, on Mon 17th Feb, Moss to Canopy Forest School will be running bookable sessions for children to take part in woodland arts and forest challenges, such as a scavenger hunt (book through https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/nottinghamshire-lincolnshire/clumber-park)
⭐Belton Estate NT, Grantham
Home to the National Trust's largest outdoor adventure playground, children can stay entertained for hours. Or if you're seeking shelter from the wintry weather, head inside to the Ride indoor play. Craft workshops will be held in the Activity Room on the 16th, 20th, and 23rd Feb.🎨

What a fabulous turn out in Southwell and the surrounding villages for the Tour of Britain race today!
A big thanks to all of those involved both staff and volunteers in organising safe passage for the cyclists - the TV commentators even remarked at how many spectators there were on our local roads! Here is a view from the ground.... next post from the air!

St George's Day Parade Route Change Saturday 20th April 🚧
Due to the ongoing roadworks on Westgate tomorrow's annual St George's Day parade has had to amend the planned Parade route.
The Parade will leave the Burgage at 2.15pm & proceed down King Street turning left onto Church Street to avoid the road closure and enter the Minster Grounds from Church Street.
