Nice little upgrade for this pc, client decided he wanted a mostly white build with the nzxt h6 flow with a deepcool 360mm rgb aio, white rgb ram and a bigger motherboard 🤩👾

Once it has a white gpu, more ram and some nice cable extensions its going to look amazing, not that it isnt already 🥲

So customer was saying his graphics card was going full power on the fans when playing even the easiest of games, baring in mind this is a 2080 so more than capable, ran a few tests and noticed it was ramping up and overheating during loads, quick strip down, fresh thermal paste and thermal pads and now its holding its temps perfectly and can barely hear the card when playing games.

Unfortunately the power supply had given up but quickly sorted and ready to go back to its owner, we also done a small service while it was in getting repairs so guaranteed has no issues for a good period of time. 👾

So we had a lovely customer call us with an issue about a blue screen error now and again, we happily offered to take a look at the system to find what issues may be causing the computer to crash.

After testing and looking inside it was clear to see that there was an issue with dust caked up inside on the cpu cooler fan and the fans suroundiny the motherboard.

The issue was clear it was thermal throttling and the hot weather these past few days made it alot worse, for those who dont know the main aim of thermal throttling is to cool down the CPU to a point where it doesn't go beyond a particular temperature threshold. This is done by lowering the CPU's core clock speed, which results in a lower power draw, eventually leading to less heat generation but this also decreases your computer’s performance alot when it comes to gaming ect.

Another small issue we detected was bad gpu sag from the overall weight of the graphics card and the sheer size of this card, we completely stripped and cleaned the system and also added a nice vertical gpu mount to tidy up the computer and eliminate the sag before it got worse.

Were proud at what we do and we do it fast, efficiently and get the job right first time every time, were hoping more work will keep on coming as its been a quiet few years here at blazed but were gunna focus at doing what we love doing best and thats doing these kinda jobs ❤️🙏
