Update from Paradise Park….

*** NEW SPECIES **

The Bruce's Fruit Dove!

Also known as Bruce's Green Pigeon, the colouring of this bird is mostly grey with a light yellow breast and olive green upper wings.

These birds are new to Paradise Park and we have replicated their previous diet to make the move here as easy as possible. They are offered a particular pigeon corn mix plus a range of chopped fruit and veg including beetroot, apple and pear, sweet potato and occasionally kiwi fruit.

Have you had your say yet? There's still time to fill in our customer survey. You could even be in with a chance to win a tablet...

Your feedback has helped shape the Library Service over the past twelve months. This has contributed towards an amazing year for Cornwall Libraries - we are defying the current national trend with our increase in borrowers (over 21 thousand have joined in the last 12 months), and increased physical and digital book loans. We will continue to improve and adapt, so it would be great if you could let us know what we are doing well, and what we could be better at.

Please click the link below and complete the quick survey and, if you would like to be entered into a draw to win a tablet, please let us know at the end of the survey!

The RNLI have created a free-to-download game to celebrate the RNLI's 200th anniversary - Storm Force Rescue

Just like an RNLI lifesaver, use your skills to navigate the challenging conditions on the back of a rescue board, an RNLI rescue watercraft, and three types of lifeboat. Face increasingly tough conditions, from rip currents and rocks to wailing winds and big waves. Can you get to the casualties in time?

The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play - visit the website to find out more about the game:
