Hi there, am experimenting with video recording and content for the onine course course I am doing at the moment and an idea I had was to record a presentation made up of pictures that summarise my point and prompt the narrative. I did this in powerpoint and Zoom. Alternative can be Canva though I find it clicks when I change slides.

Well, yesterday I visited Facebook in my browser, read through posts, liked a few and did some comments.

Facebook then accused me of not following its community standards and suspended my account for an hour.

Second time in a week and second visit to Facebook. But still grotesque pictures appear in stories and you can't report the artists whose pages have been hijacked or hide them without unliking the page.

Last time I got suspended for accepting invitations. That flouted the community standards too apparently.

No accountability.

Facebook is annoying.

1. Why not ask customers which profile they want to speak from?
2. Why not keep Meta Meta for Business messages and chats separate from Messenger or at least provide a separate tab for each one?

I needed to get quickly 2 roads away so made the mistake of driving. That'll learn me. The experience was like trying to allow pop-ups on Canva. First I went along Claire Terrace. Tiny car with hazards on, doors open just beside the wider bit of the road. Waited and waited. No car pushing to free up that road, so reversed back and a van blocked me behind. Manoeuvred back and forth to go along Waterloo and then up to Budock Terrace. Nope, the recycling lorry was doing its thing. Went along Marlborough, then next road and no parking.
Back along Budock Terrace and cars are trying to come out. Park, drop and leave. Can't do Budock, recyclers almost at end, where do they go next. A car crosses to Marlborough and I do same. Gridlock. Marlborough on bus route and people trying to go both ways. I should have walked.

Realisation of the day: if I have to express into words every action, idea, target, intention and plan for the scrutiny and assessment of another, I find i am disorientated, distracted, demotivated, demoralised and filled with doubt. Nothing gets done.
Action speaks louder than words and better outcomes than can be imagined can come from doing not thinking or over-thinking, which comes from analysis. Analysis paralysis.
Also, this could be how academic demands are throttling arts education. Rant over

Hi there, I'm applying for a music technology course in Adult Education and would like to find out if there are people around Falmouth and Penryn who would like to be part of a team for a new way for artists to reach a wider, global audience and earn for performances of their original music worldwide.
