Ignited in 2012, The Third Eye evolves at the crossroads of different artistic, alternative and underground movements from around the world. The Third Eye is a Maverick multi-media art project of LOVE and an original concept created by Sophie Pinchetti. The first issue of The Third Eye was published on the Summer Solstice 2012 in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. The magazine is internationally d
istributed across independent art bookshops and influential galleries including the Tate Modern, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Serpentine Gallery, the Palais de Tokyo and Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, as well as spontaneous distributions along the road throughout Europe in the Summer 2012. The Third Eye's magazine is an irregular publication. The Third Eye's artistic activities include its initiative of the online cinema. Harnessing a flaming belief in the power of independent film, The Third Eye's cinema creates and promotes independent, experimental and non-commercial films from the past and present. The vision is to celebrate and challenge artistic practice in avant-garde filmmaking.
