Warrior magazine If you don't know, you've come to the wrong page. After a heady time running Marvel UK, Dez Skinn walked away in 1980 when quantity became all-important.

So he called his own company Quality, as a reminder not to dilute success through replication. Warrior was the result, a unique standalone comic magazine. By spending his time focused on just one title he was able to give it 100% of his energy and time. Naturally, he expected those around him to give no less. And they didn’t disappoint.

So how good was your artwork when you were 16? Here's the first page of the first professional work done by Steve (Preacher) Dillon. He really was 16 at the time and I commissioned him to draw a three page Hulk strip for the second issue of Hulk Comic in 1979. Sadly this incredible talent died a few years ago.
