Matt Shepherd has presented several shows over the years for BBC Local Radio on Elvis Presley, including more than 50 with his good friend Freddy Zapp on BBC Radio Cornwall. Matt has been an Elvis fan for more than 30 years and has amassed a huge collection of hundreds of records and Elvis information over the years. He has written Elvis related articles for the BBC News website and Elvis publications. His has also interviewed many of Elvis’ friends over the last few decades including Jerry Schilling, George Klein, Larry Gellar and the late Joe Esposito. The Russia-Ukraine War has several unique aspects, the most striking of which is that it is being fought in proximity to nuclear facilities and working nuclear power stations, including the six-reactor Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), Europe’s largest, and the decommissioned four-reactor Chernobyl NPP that, in 1986, suffered a catastrophic failure that released radioactive contamination across much of Europe. Some experts claim the contamination caused several thousand excess cancer deaths.

It’s the perfect blend of suspense, mystery, paranormal and action. I was hooked from the beginning to the end and didn’t want it to finish. Please Raymond write the next parts asap!! Dr Jim Lewis is a Consultant to Terry Farrell & Partners on the historical development of London’s Lee Valley. A freelance writer (with nineteen published books), researcher
and broadcaster for his specialist subject – London’s Lee Valley, he also has a genuine passion for encouraging partnership projects within the local community, which in the long term, are planned to help stimulate social and economic regeneration. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 'A super interesting suspense, mystery thriller. It’s a fast-paced thriller and it’ll keep you on your toes from start to finish. It’s a story of a young 13-year-old boy; DJ Mackay, who moves from Edinburgh to Linicro with his mother and sister, after his father dies. Although it’s a big change, he settles in quickly and makes new friends. He spends most of his free time with his 2 best friends; James and John. One weekend they decide to go camping near Castledawn and that’s where everything goes down. The characters are well-developed and the storyline is compelling (an absolute page-turner). Castledawn is the first instalment of the Castledawn trilogy and I can’t wait for the next parts to come out so I can devour them like I did with this part.'

Way before the NHS Lebus had a medical unit for its workforce. This was designed into the original factory cabinet-making works that opened in Tottenham Hale in 1901. There were consulting rooms for men and separate ones for the women who made up a significant part of the labour intensive French polishing section. The facilities accommodated a full time in-house general practitioner as well as nursing staff. Naturally it was equipped to administer rudiments first aid in the event of accident and emergency and which was needed at a factory which had steam powered machinery, cross and rip-saws. Whilst the provision was no doubt welcomed by employees who benefitted from the free service, it also worked well for the Lebus partners since workers didn’t need to take time out for any routine medical concerns. In time the facilities became more sophisticated with an optician and an X-Ray provision which rivalled that of the nearby hospital - the Prince of Wales hospital in Tottenham High Road. The facilities were sited close to where Ferry Lane Primary School is today.
