Here we are, new release on Punk Vortex Records.
I will never be tired of repeating it, DELINQUENTES, along with KARNE KRUA, CAMBIO NEGRO and NxAxDxAx, are among the most important, representative and influential Hardcore Punk bands from Brasil, in my very humble opinion.
That said, I am very happy and proud of compiling and restoring DELINQUENTES early demos onto a beautiful 12" LP. Over 40 minutes of raw, angry, edgy Hardcore Punk from the heart of Brazilian rainforest.
DELINQUENTES was formed in 1985 and are still active to the present day. Their first demo tape was recorded in 1988 and I got my copy a few months after it was released, back on the "good old days" I used to exchange tapes and zines with Jayme Katarro, real underground hero who is the only original member since the
first line up, and still as angry as he was as a young teenager.
On this vinil edition of the early tapes , we have:
Dt "Infecto Humano" - 1988 (Studio tracks only, the live songs were ditched, sorry)
Dt "Não é Ficção" - 1991
Dt "Cenas de Dor" - 1992
And the songs included on the compilation tape "Gritos de Agonia e Desespero" - 1993
The recordings are what they are, taking all the odds in consideration, the final result is great. And "I", as a "label", am very proud of what we've achieved. Another treasure unearthed and made available to the first 500 lucky bastards who want it.
A massive thank you to JAYME KATARRO, for the trust and allowing me to get it done, to DANIEL HUSAYN, once again for the great work restoring the audio, and Tulio Dourado Carlos Tulio for the layout and all the graphics. I love you guys!!!
