There's a sneaky cyber threat you should be aware of called a “Drop Attack”.

Criminals are scattering thumb drives in random places (parking lots, playgrounds, etc.), hoping curious people or kids pick them up and plug them into their computers. 📱💻 Once opened, these USBs can release viruses or give hackers backdoor access to your data. It may seem harmless, but this is a planned attack, not an accident. 🚫

Here are a few tips to stay safe:
🔒 Never plug in a random USB drive you find.
🔒 Use antivirus software that can detect and block threats.
🔒 Educate kids and family members about the risks.

It’s better to be safe than sorry! Stay alert and protect your devices.

📢 Important Update: Google Business Profile Chat is Going Away 📢

Just received news from Google regarding the chat feature in Google Business Profile. Google has announced that they will be winding down this feature. Here are the key details:

🗓️ Key Dates to Remember:
- Starting 15 July 2024: New chat conversations with your business will no longer be possible. Customers in existing chat conversations will be notified of the upcoming change.
- Starting 31 July 2024: Chat functionality will fully end. You will no longer receive new chat messages from customers via Google Business Profile.

📂 What You Need to Do:
1. Download Chat History: If you’d like to keep a record of your past customer conversations, you can download your chat history via Google Takeout.
2. Alternative Chat Solutions: Consider inviting your customers to continue conversations on alternative chat platforms.

🔗 Stay Connected: Customers can still find and contact your business via Google Search and Maps, and learn more about you from your website links, business description, photos, and other details shared on your Business Profile.
