Gardens for the Soul is released today!!!
So excited to see our it making its way to all good bookshops near you (and all those big old online warehouses as well)!
Those of you that know me will know that I’m a real gardens geek and it’s been a pleasure and an honour to have spent time in all the stunning gardens we shot for this book.
Thank you to all the garden owners, who were so inviting and shared so much with us.
I loved working on this as part of with my partner in crime Without her writing, styling and creative flair this book would never have happened.
A massive thank you also to our publishers for inviting us to produce a second book after the success of our first one Home for the Soul.

One of the most atmospheric houses I've ever shot in. It's the childhood home of Marion Visser in Holland. I absolutely loved it in there, it felt like I was in The Potato Eaters by Van Gogh! Anyone that knows me will recognise that as the ultimate compliment!
Marion inherited the house that her grandparents built and where she, her father and her siblings all started out in life. She still sits at the same table, in the same place, on the same bench that she sat on as a little girl. I love that.

The amazing home of artist and his wife Tish. They bought the eighteenth century barn twelve years ago. The stone structure of the building was original but the interior was entirely created by the previous owner artist Paul P R Nicholls. They decided to preserve it entirely as it was.⁠⁠

After a week away shooting in Cornwall with my other hat on ( ) it’s great to be back in Hackney with its colourful take on life. I won’t deny missing the sound of the waves and the seagulls but there is something equally comforting about the buzz of life on every street corner.

Looking back at when .conran and I were given completely free range of the for homesandgardensuk We were granted access between the hours of 6.30pm - 4.30am and by 8pm everyone had gone home, there was just the security guard who gave us the keys to a cherry-picker and basically left us to it!⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠
