Radio Frimley Park - David McWilliam The official page for Radio Frimley Park's David McWilliam David McWilliam has been with Radio Frimley Park since 2009, and has been presenting since 2010.

David began in radio in 2004 whilst at university in Preston, Lancashire. There he presented on the student station Frequency 1350 for three years. You can join David every Sunday morning from 9am. He starts with the 'Mystery Year'. A chart rundown from a week gone by. All you have to do is guess the year in question! He'll help you with some of the big headlines from the year, Best of all, if you

get the year right you'll win a fantastic prize! There's also chances to win on the 'Musical Connection'. Four songs are played, name the connection and you'll be a winner! He'll also take a look at the front pages of the Sunday newspapers. 'One From The Past And One From The Present' - two songs from one artist, one old and one new. In the TV review, David will have a look at what's good, and what's best avoided! In 'Songs From The Screen' a great song from a movie is played, and there's also a look at what's happening in the local area. Behind the scenes, David is also the Programme Controller for Radio Frimley Park. This involves looking after the overall output of the station. Not only covering presenters, but also the automated side of it. When there isn't a live presenter, we use an automated playout system called Myriad to broadcast. Within this there are thousands of songs, and it's David's job to select which ones are played out. In addition, he keeps Myriad right up to date by adding the latest music tracks.
